Greetings again from Seattle,
I saw my doctor yesterday (Friday) for a final check on my surgery results. He said everything looks good (face excluded) and that I can travel after 15 November. Although Dr. Zink said my chances of being cancer free are amazingly high, they still take a 1% chance seriously. He has given me a schedule for quarterly examinations to evaluate if cancer has shown up somewhere else, especially the lungs, which seems to be a common site after kidney cancer. I can do the evaluations in Slovakia (which involve lung X-rays or ultra-sound of the abdomen).
Delta has checked on available seats using my original return ticket, and to avoid the Thanksgiving holiday rush, they gave me a reservation for leaving Seattle on 28 November, arriving in Bratislava on 29 November.
I appreciated all your prayers during this time of adventure and hope for your continued support as I return to Bratislava and begin packing to move to Kosice. Never a dull moment in the Kingdom.

A message received from Tom Pauley:
Paula and I humbly request your prayers as well as the other faculty members. I was diagnosed yesterday with full blown Leukemia. Currently it is in the early stages and may very possibly remain there for many years to come. However our oncologist also reminded us that it could always become aggressive. It's kinda like sitting on a time bomb. So all we will do know as far as treatment, is regular blood tests, every two months , and watch and wait.
