June-July Newsletter: Garcia Family - Cuernavaca, Mexico

¡Saludos en Cristo! That we should feed and nourish our souls with high notions of GOD; which would yield us great joy in being devoted to Him. That we ought to give ourselves up to GOD, with regard both to things temporal and spiritual, and seek our satisfaction only in the fulfilling of His will! Whether He lead us by suffering or by jubilation, all would be equal to a soul truly resigned. -Lawrence (Selected & Adapted) May we rejoice in the news & the work of our Great God!! So others may live!

A new member of the kingdom

Dear friends and family, Almost a year ago we met Oscar through one of the shelters for homeless people where we used to visit one of our brothers. Oscar is not really a homeless person but he was there for a few nights since he just was release from an immigration office here in Mexico City, Oscar is actually from Honduras and he was on his way to the USA to try to cross the border and see his two girls in Maryland but right before they crossed they were kidnapped by a drug cartel and taken to a house in the middle of nowhere. Long story short a couple days later he was rescued by the federal police and taken to Mexico City for questioning where he requested asylum to be able to stay here and work. He was sent to the shelter where we met him and started coming to church since as he said it from the beginning "I did not have anything better to do" we are glad he didn't!

He has taken our five loaves & two fish & multiplied them. He is making things grow and taking care of His servants while doing it. To Him be glory and honor forever & ever!
