Prayers for the Crohn's

This concerns the Dana and Connie Crohn family that graduated in May 2002. Connie has been dealing with cancer now for a long time and this is the report I just received on her. Please remember them in your prayers as they walk through this journey.

This was the previous email dated August 1.
Dear Friends and Family,

The result of the P.E.T. scan on Tuesday is that Connie's cancer is not only active again but has
spread throughout her body. She has been turned over to Hospice care with the goal of making her time
left as comfortable as possible. The oncologist estimates that she has 6 months left. Again thank you
all for all the love and care you have shown us over these past months. We love you all and God Bless.

Connie's health is deteriorating faster than first predicted. She is
in the hospital right now but will be coming home tomorrow (Friday). They now estimate her time left to be 2-3 weeks.

She is doing well now, but we are told that she will be getting
weaker and less able to communicate as she nears the end of this life. Once

Prayer Reqest for Tamara Cook

Sunday 8:15pm Singapore time

Hello everyone,

Tamara was in surgery for a little longer than 6 hours Saturday (2:00pm to 8:00+pm). It took longer than thought due to extra "repairs" needing to be done, but she is presently recovering in ICU and will be there for a day or two. Then she will be moved to a regular hospital room. Her previous pain has been relieved! Now she is going through whatever recovery pain there is to be found after a back surgery.

Please continue your prayers in her and Charles behalf and I will update you as time goes by. Thank you for your partnership in prayer through this trial for the Cook family.

On a different note.... We just finished up our second weekend of studies with Gerald Paden teaching the Old Testament sacrificial system course and next weekend he will return to include a study of the book of Hebrews. Near 40 students are in regular attendance!

More to come!!!

A servant for Jesus & the billions in Asia,

Prayers for Jones'

Stuart and Cecilia Jones are on their way back from Red River Family Encampment. They had received word that Cecilia’s brother is in the hospital in Dallas from having a heart attack. He also has pneumonia and his kidney’s are failing. Stuart and Cecilia will be making a quick stop in Lubbock to get some clothes. They request everyone’s prayers at this time for their safety in travel and for her brother.

Prayers for Sabado's

This is an update on the Charlie Sabado family. After his recent graduation from Sunset they began their long journey back home to the Philippines. For Tina, this was the first time she was able to go back home since they arrived in the U.S. in August of 2005. She was really looking forward to it.

They arrived in Manila on June 3rd and spent some days there seeing to some of the papers for their daughter Marguerite, who was born in Lubbock and is an American citizen, and also getting some much-needed rest. On June 6th, they started come to Tacloban City, and they checked into a hotel and began searching for a house to rent. They were now "home" once again. Tacloban is Tina's home city and birthplace, and her father and mother and sister still live there.
