Update on prison courses

Dear brethren, Hope and pray you and yours are doing well in Jesus. This is a small update about our AIBI prison project. Two weeks ago, due to prisoner's transfer to other prisons the number of our students went down to seven in the Federal Prison of Athens.

Another successful VBS

brethren, Greetings in the glorious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Hope and pray you and yours are doing well in Him. Another successful VBS finished today in Athens. We deeply appreciate the VBS team (brother Gary Hall, Rhiannon, Katie, Amanda and Kristen) who volunteer this year to have the VBS here in Athens, and a week before in Korca, Albania. Also, we thank everyone who with their help and support made the VBS possible here in Athens and in Korca, Albania. The kids were so excited about it, and already looking forward to next's year VBS.

AIBI Prison Courses Beginning

Dear brethren, Hope and pray you and yours are doing well in Jesus. As probably some of you know, we (Dino Tzanetos and I) have been involved in a weekly prison ministry here in Athens for the last 13 years. Lately one of our AIBI 2011 graduates Reginald Anokwuru was arrested by the Emigration Police here in Greece for problems with his Greek permeation. He was in the same prison where we have our prison ministry. During his staying there he started a Bible Study class in his section with a large participation. We even brought song books to prison for use during these Bible Studies.

Jan-Feb-Mar 2013 African Newsletter

The African Report Newsletter: Jerry V. Hogg, 462 Amanda Circle, Knoxville, TN 37922 Email: jvhogg@charter.net January-February-March 2013 Sponsored by: Sunset Church of Christ, Sunset International Bible Institute, 3723 34th Street, Lubbock, TX 79410 A NEW BEGINNING After all the holidays, surgeries and rehabilitation are over, we are well into the year, anticipating our return to South Africa on 13 March. It has not been easy getting through this period of time, doing the usual holiday activities, while meeting many appointments for therapy, doctor follow-ups, plus going to many places telling of the work we do in Africa. In between these times, I have been able to teach an adult class at the West End church on Wednesday nights this quarter, using lessons from the Book of Psalms. I have been able to be in town most Wednesdays, except 2 or 3 when my dear friend and co-worker, Bill Elliott, has taken the class. Teaching here at home has been such a joy for me. But, then, I enjoy teaching wherever I am! VANISHED!
