Greetings & Update

Greetings all, Wow! It has been a long few weeks. I arrived in Mexico around January 9th with my mother and have been quite busy ever since. God truly has blessed the move here and I am thankful for His hand in everything that has taken place. I have been wanting to write to fill you in on what has been going on. I now have internet and am VERY thankful to be able to communicate with those that are helping this work. Yesterday and today I went to the Immigration office and it looks like I will have my temporary residence as of tomorrow. I am hopeful that it all works out, and ask for your prayers. Aside from applying for immigration, I have been getting settled into my home and buying furnishings and the needed appliances. I now have a Mexican Bank account and a cell phone, as well has home phone service... so I feel settled. As of Friday, the AIMers will arrive and I am eager to see them. I will not begin language school until after they leave, as we will be busy with service projects, helping the downtown church, etc. I hope all is well - and I will send a newsletter after the AIMers leave to fill in the holes, but wanted to give a quick update. Hope to hear updates on how things are going - and remember - you each are ALWAYS welcome to come and stay! Mi casa es tu casa. In His Service, Travis Sayen
