CONFUSION IN CHRISTIANITY Generally we all agree that we became sinners by what the first man Adam did. We say that man must come to Jesus having faith that He will save us and repent of our sins or we will burn in hell because … of what some one else did . If we became sinners by what one did , then it is only logical, reasonable, fair, and Biblical that all become saved by what One did. Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men unto condemnation; even so by the righteousness of One the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. Romans 5 : 18. Read the whole passage verses 12- 19. Behold the lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1: 29. We say, Come to Jesus. The Bible says : No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him … Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come to me, except it were given unto him of my Father. John 6 : 44, 65. We say, Have faith . The Bible says faith is a gift : For by grace are ye save through faith ; and that not of yourselves : it is a gift : not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2 : 8,9. See Romans 12 : 3; Matthew 16: 15-17. We say, Repent of your sins. The Bible says repentance is a gift : Him hath God exalted with His right hand to be a Prince and a Savior , for to give repentance to Israel … . Acts 5 : 31. See Acts 11 : 18; 2Timothy 2 : 25 . While the Bible does say that no one can come to Jesus except they be drawn … it does say that all will be drawn : And I, if I be lifted up from the earth , will draw all men unto me. John 12:32 . Yes, all will be drawn to Jesus but since all will not be saved …then man can resist the drawing of the Holy Spirit to his Pardon which is the unpardonable sin. Here is where man exercises his free will. Why resist ? If a reason could be given sin could be justified. There is no reason for sin. Our Judeo-Christian religion began 4,000 years ago when Abraham was called out of Babylon/confusion. Genesis 11: 1-9 margin; 31-32; Chapter 12 :1-3. Just as it began by calling man out of Babylon/confusion … so it ends the same way … with believers being called out of Babylon/confusion : "… Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen …come out of her my people that ye be not partakers of her sins … ".
